PlazaHire ("we," "our," or "us") operates the PlazaHire mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Phone number. We collect your mobile phone number when you create an account. It is used solely for authentication (one-time passcodes via SMS) and is never sold or shared with advertisers.
Profile information. Workers may provide a name, business name, trade, and optional business logo. Homeowners provide a name and service address. This information is stored in our database and used to operate the app.
Job and invoice data. Workers store job records, client contacts, line items, payment notes, and invoice history in the app. This data is associated with your account and accessible only to you.
Photos. Workers can attach job-proof photos. These are stored in a private cloud bucket accessible only to the account holder. Photos may include GPS coordinates embedded by your device's camera — this location data is used only to generate GPS proof-of-work records visible to you and optionally shared with your clients. We do not use photo metadata for advertising or tracking.
Location. Location access is requested only when taking job-proof photos (GPS tagging). We do not continuously track your location or store it outside of individual photo records.
Device information. We collect a push notification token from your device to deliver in-app notifications (e.g., new bids, accepted bids, messages). This token is stored in your account profile and used only to route notifications to your device.
Usage data and error logs. We use Sentry (sentry.io) to capture anonymous crash reports and performance traces. These logs may include your user ID, account plan tier, and app role (worker or homeowner). No personally identifiable information beyond user ID is included. Error data is used solely to fix bugs and improve stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and secure your account
- To operate the invoicing, client management, and marketplace features of the App
- To send push notifications relevant to your activity (bids, messages, payment reminders)
- To deliver SMS messages you initiate (e.g., sending an invoice or reminder to a client)
- To process and manage your subscription via RevenueCat
- To diagnose crashes and improve app performance via Sentry
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.
3. SMS Messaging (Twilio)
The App enables workers to send SMS messages to their clients — for example, sharing an invoice link or sending a payment reminder. These messages are sent using Twilio (twilio.com) on behalf of you, the worker. SMS is only sent when you explicitly initiate the action. We do not send unsolicited SMS. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply to your clients.

4. Subscription and Payments (RevenueCat)
Subscription purchases (PlazaHire Basic and Pro plans) are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat (revenuecat.com). We do not collect or store payment card information. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and entitlement status to unlock plan features.

5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We use row-level security policies to ensure that your data is accessible only to your account. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.

6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed in this policy (Supabase, Twilio, RevenueCat, Sentry, Expo) and only to the extent necessary to operate the App. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
When you participate in the Plaza marketplace, limited profile information (name, trade, portfolio photos, ratings) may be visible to homeowners on the platform. Job addresses provided by homeowners are only revealed to a worker after their bid is accepted.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your account in the App from Settings by choosing "Delete account." This removes your account and app data from our active systems, except where retention is required by law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or financial recordkeeping obligations.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop future billing, manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google Play account settings.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at:

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlazaHire mobile application ("App") operated by PlazaHire ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or the services you provide
- Post false or misleading reviews or ratings
4. Worker Services and Payments
PlazaHire is a tool for workers to manage their invoicing and client relationships, and for homeowners to find and hire workers. All payment transactions for services are conducted directly between workers and homeowners. PlazaHire does not process, hold, or guarantee any payments between users. We are not responsible for any disputes arising from worker-homeowner transactions.
5. Plaza Marketplace
The Plaza feature connects homeowners seeking services with workers. Workers submit bids on homeowner listings. Once a bid is accepted, a working relationship begins. PlazaHire facilitates this connection but is not a party to any service agreement between a worker and homeowner. You are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and completion of any services agreed upon.
6. Subscriptions
PlazaHire offers optional paid subscription plans (Basic and Pro) that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to the prices displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel, manage your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. We do not offer refunds for unused subscription periods except as required by applicable law.
A 7-day free trial may be offered to new subscribers. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial ends.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the App (photos, job descriptions, messages, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content to operate the App. You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit and that it does not violate any third party's rights.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.
8. SMS Communications
By using the App's SMS features, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary consent from your clients to send them SMS messages. You agree to use SMS only for legitimate business communications related to jobs managed through the App. You are solely responsible for compliance with applicable SMS and telecommunications laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) where applicable.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PlazaHire SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlazaHire and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the address below.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
